Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) AFC - Curitiba's Luiz Gustavo Braga started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Luiz Gustavo Braga kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving João Augusto Quirino. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Gustavo Braga in the 9th minute of play forced Quandus's goalkeeper João Augusto Quirino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind AFC - Curitiba's goalkeeper Arnaldo Lopes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 13 minutes into the match, Luiz Gustavo Braga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of João Augusto Quirino. Quandus's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luiz Gustavo Braga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Arnaldo Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iuri Félix in the 19th minute of play. Quandus's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Luiz Gustavo Braga scored to the left of an out of position João Augusto Quirino, making the score, 3-0. After 25 played minutes Quandus got a freekick which was hit by Leopoldo França. João Augusto Quirino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Gustavo Braga in the 27th minute of play. Arnaldo Lopes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiago Gabriel Vaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 31st minute, AFC - Curitiba's Anderson Velloso dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. João Augusto Quirino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Gustavo Braga in the 35th minute of the match. AFC - Curitiba's Luiz Gustavo Braga was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 36th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 39 played minutes Quandus got a freekick which was hit by Nilson Batista. In the 41st minute, Nilson Batista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th play minute Luiz Gustavo Braga came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised João Augusto Quirino. 6-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tiago Gabriel Vaz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. João Augusto Quirino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jano Proença in the 55th minute of play. 56 minutes into the game, Luizão Ferraz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AFC - Curitiba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quandus the free kick. Luizão Ferraz kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 58th minute Isaltino Capixaba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Durval de Barros charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Durval de Barros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Quandus getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Durval de Barros hit a great ball. After 66 minutes, Luiz Gustavo Braga made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Quandus's João Augusto Quirino tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Quandus's Romário Netto got a free kick in the 71st minute. The supporters of AFC - Curitiba booed when Quandus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Durval de Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luiz Gustavo Braga in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg João Augusto Quirino saved Quandus from getting behind. If Anderson Velloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute, Luiz Gustavo Braga made a precise shot to the right of João Augusto Quirino. Quandus's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Iuri Félix hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the AFC - Curitiba players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
