Ronaldão dos Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Renato Valladares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 5 minutes into the game, Aírton Queirós was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quebra Ossos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LauerArmy the free kick. Aírton Queirós hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Kléber Guedes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ronaldão dos Santos. That made the score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. In the 14th minute, Romeu Prado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 16 minutes into the match, Quebra Ossos FC's goalkeeper Ronaldão dos Santos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by James Rodriguez. If Paulo Renato Valladares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Kléber Guedes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the game, Angelo Teixeira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Ronaldão dos Santos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 31 played minutes Quebra Ossos FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Augusto Galvão. In the 32nd minute of the match Paulo Renato Valladares shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ronaldão dos Santos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kléber Guedes in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ronaldão dos Santos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 35th minute Carlos Augusto Galvão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilian Guimarães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Angelo Teixeira fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LauerArmy's protests and gave Angelo Teixeira a yellow card for diving instead. After 37 played minutes LauerArmy got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Teixeira. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelo Teixeira got free with Ronaldão dos Santos in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 43rd minute, Angelo Teixeira reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ronaldão dos Santos. The goal made the score 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kléber Guedes to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Quebra Ossos FC's zone, Kléber Guedes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronaldão dos Santos came out of the goal and Kléber Guedes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 54th minute, Angelo Teixeira made a precise shot to the right of Ronaldão dos Santos. Quebra Ossos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. In the 58th match minute, Quebra Ossos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Gustavo de Lima to maneuver through the defense. Ronaldão dos Santos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kléber Guedes's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. The tension between the Quebra Ossos FC and the LauerArmy players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 70th minute, Dênis de Salles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute, James Rodriguez made a precise shot to the right of Ronaldão dos Santos. Quebra Ossos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. If Angelo Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Paulo Renato Valladares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Ronaldão dos Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angelo Teixeira in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ronaldão dos Santos saved Quebra Ossos FC from getting behind. Ronaldão dos Santos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Angelo Teixeira's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. After 83 played minutes Quebra Ossos FC got a freekick which was hit by Eliézer Sarmento. 86 minutes into the match, Quebra Ossos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Teixeira came free, but Ronaldão dos Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Quebra Ossos FC were furious when Dênis de Salles was red carded, 89 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Ronaldão dos Santos came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by LauerArmy's Paulo Renato Valladares. But to his dismay, Paulo Renato Valladares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Ronaldão dos Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Teixeira in the 96th minute of play. LauerArmy walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
