The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Clóvis Paraense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jano Cavalcante could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Samuca Bezerra made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Leandro Brito took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Samuca Bezerra to make any attempt to save it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Chicão Matos during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Montevideo booed when Rondinone F.C - FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chicão Matos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Samuca Bezerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clóvis Paraense in the 14th minute of play. Arnaldo Coutinho kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Samuca Bezerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Brito in the 23rd minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Falcão Marques notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Montevideo's Oleg Timofeev. Oleg Timofeev was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jano Cavalcante scored 2-2 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Samuca Bezerra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The wind increased when Jano Cavalcante made the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Oleg Timofeev threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Adalberto Vianna, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 58th minute Jano Cavalcante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuca Bezerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oleg Timofeev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adalberto Vianna in the 61st minute of play. Clóvis Paraense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Samuca Bezerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edmílson Schmidt kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Gil dos Santos struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Oleg Timofeev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rondinone F.C - FDFDF. Gil dos Santos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Oleg Timofeev made a huge save. In the 89th minute Leandro Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuca Bezerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gil dos Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gil dos Santos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Oleg Timofeev made a huge save. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
