Wilton de Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Evaristo Tolino hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the game, AC Korban's Falcão Ramalho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 36th match minute, AC Korban was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sidney Souza to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Aírton Oliveira could shoot a difficult shot in the 42nd minute, which Oséias Dantas however easily saved by the left post. With a little luck, AC Korban's Oséias Dantas got control of the ball when Aírton Oliveira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilton de Amaral stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Karaboudjan's Luizão Peixoto got a free kick in the 50th minute. The coaching staff of Karaboudjan protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mateus Velloso had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The Karaboudjan supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching AC Korban's performance. The match ended with a win for AC Korban.
