The Dragões Barbudos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vicente Fantini should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Vicente Fantini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomás de Godoi in the 54th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Peres in the 56th minute of play forced AC Korban's goalkeeper Oséias Dantas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the AC Korban defense, Benê Favoretto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oséias Dantas. The AC Korban fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oséias Dantas should have stopped the shot. Vicente Fantini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomás de Godoi in the 67th minute of play. In the 67th match minute, Dragões Barbudos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernani Linares to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flávio Baptista in the 69th minute of play forced Dragões Barbudos FC's goalkeeper Vicente Fantini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vicente Fantini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Falcão Ramalho in the 77th minute of play.
