After a rather tough play, Jundiaí -DMZ-'s Márcio Berger got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Horácio Queiroz hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 7th minute Rune Myr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olavo Diniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Vinícius Toscano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute of the match, Rune Myr tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Olavo Diniz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 22nd minute Wilson Meireles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dedé Dante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dedé Dante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilson Meireles in the 24th minute of play. The supporters of Jundiaí -DMZ- booed when Aurora FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rune Myr didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olavo Diniz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rune Myr in the 30th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Aurora FC defense, Wilson Meireles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dedé Dante. The Aurora FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dedé Dante should have stopped the shot. Dedé Dante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilson Meireles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dedé Dante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vivaldo Monteiro in the 40th minute of play. Andrézinho Rossi came free with the goalkeeper in the 43rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Olavo Diniz could save by the left post. Thanks to some nice moves Andrézinho Rossi could shoot a difficult shot in the 45th minute, which Olavo Diniz however easily saved by the left post. 46 minutes into the game, Wilson Meireles cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Dedé Dante was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

54 minutes into the game, Vítor de Azevedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jundiaí -DMZ-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aurora FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Jundiaí -DMZ-'s Vítor de Azevedo got a free kick in the 55th minute. Aurora FC's Leonel Loureiro couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 55th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Jundiaí -DMZ-. After 57 played minutes Jundiaí -DMZ- got a freekick which was hit by Víktor Novaes. In the 58th minute of the match Leonel Loureiro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Olavo Diniz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Jundiaí -DMZ- getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Vinícius Toscano hit a great ball. Leonel Loureiro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Olavo Diniz. Jundiaí -DMZ-'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dedé Dante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilson Meireles, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Felippe Godoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 77th minute Andrézinho Rossi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olavo Diniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olavo Diniz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andrézinho Rossi went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After having played for 86 minutes, Vivaldo Monteiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jundiaí -DMZ-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Vivaldo Monteiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vivaldo Monteiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Dedé Dante made a huge save. Felippe Godoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Felippe Godoi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jundiaí -DMZ-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Felippe Godoi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dedé Dante breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 97 minutes into the game, Aurora FC's Rune Myr nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olavo Diniz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Aurora FC had won after a very even match.
