Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Valdir Tavares kicked off to start the match. After having played for 13 minutes, Teodoro Carioca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pecém's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodoro Carioca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valdir Tavares in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yan Moraes saved Estrela Vermelha from getting behind. Laércio Eger was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Enrique Proença showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 18 minute of play. Yan Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdir Tavares in the 24th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Valdir Tavares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yan Moraes was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. 31 minutes into the match, Estrela Vermelha's goal looked a bit too open when Simão Valle came free, but Yan Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st match minute, Pecém was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aloísio Peres to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Estrela Vermelha defense, Simão Valle kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yan Moraes. The Estrela Vermelha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yan Moraes should have stopped the shot. Yan Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdir Tavares in the 47th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Enrique Proença made a kick off. Washington Cabral's late challenge caught a Estrela Vermelha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Washington Cabral helped the player get up and apologised. Washington Cabral kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Proença in the 54th minute of play forced Pecém's goalkeeper Laércio Eger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laércio Eger came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Estrela Vermelha's Enrique Proença. But to his dismay, Enrique Proença quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. After some careless play in the Estrela Vermelha defense, Teodoro Carioca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yan Moraes. The Estrela Vermelha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yan Moraes should have stopped the shot. Pecém's Laércio Eger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Leite in the 67th minute of play. After 70 played minutes Estrela Vermelha got a freekick which was hit by Hélio de Andrade. Benjamim Pernambucano was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 71st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Luan Berger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Laércio Eger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aloísio Peres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yan Moraes having to interfere. The supporters of Pecém booed when Estrela Vermelha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrado Leite didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teodoro Carioca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Yan Moraes made a huge save. Yan Moraes made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Simão Valle sent off a good shot on target. Laércio Eger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luan Berger, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Estrela Vermelha's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
