The supporters of Pecém booed when Breguete FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Toledo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th minute, Murilo Godoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Laércio Eger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Murilo Godoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Valdir Tavares scored 1-0 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Diamantino Vides, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 18 minutes into the match, Breguete FC's goal looked a bit too open when Simão Valle came free, but Diamantino Vides reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valdir Tavares's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Diamantino Vides skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 23rd minute Benjamim Rezende shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laércio Eger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laércio Eger came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Breguete FC's Rodrigo Domingues. But to his dismay, Rodrigo Domingues quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 30 minutes of play, Breguete FC's Roberto Toledo made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Laércio Eger was left in no man's land by his defense there! Laércio Eger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 35thth minute of the game Rodrigo Domingues who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pecém's Laércio Eger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Laércio Eger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodrigo Domingues's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute, Murilo Godoi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Laércio Eger was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Laércio Eger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamim Rezende, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laércio Eger didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Murilo Godoi went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Laércio Eger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinei Mesquita, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. 48 minutes into the game, Murilo Godoi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Laércio Eger was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 1-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valdir Tavares to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Pecém's Valdir Tavares got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 60th minute, Rodrigo Domingues ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Laércio Eger was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. Pecém's Laércio Eger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Pecém from getting a goal against them. Nando Simão hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute, Murilo Godoi made a precise shot to the right of Laércio Eger. Pecém's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-8. The audience thought a goal was coming when Murilo Godoi got free with Laércio Eger in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pecém's Laércio Eger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Domingues in the 76th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Pecém's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamim Rezende came free, but Laércio Eger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Benjamim Rezende had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Laércio Eger. Pecém's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benjamim Rezende was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-9. Pecém's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Murilo Godoi scored to the left of an out of position Laércio Eger, making the score, 1-10. After some careless play in the Pecém defense, Benjamim Rezende kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Laércio Eger. The Pecém fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Laércio Eger should have stopped the shot.
