Jurassic Monsters SA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Breguete FC the free kick. A collision led to Jurassic Monsters SA getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Aírton Bezerra hit a great ball. After having played for 5 minutes, Rodrigo Domingues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Breguete FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodrigo Domingues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jurassic Monsters SA were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Breguete FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aírton Bezerra took the corner. After taking down the ball on Jurassic Monsters SA's corner Aírton Bezerra fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jefferson Souza quite easily take care of the ball. Vinícius Grandi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute, Luiz Mendes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vinícius Grandi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Jefferson Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Jurassic Monsters SA defense, Benjamim Rezende kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Denílson Azevedo. The Jurassic Monsters SA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Denílson Azevedo should have stopped the shot. Roberto Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. When Josué Penha came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Jurassic Monsters SA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Josué Penha couldn't finish the play. In the 31st minute Rodrigo Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denílson Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rdth minute of the game Josué Penha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Breguete FC's Jefferson Souza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Denílson Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamim Rezende in the 34th minute of the match. Claudinei Mesquita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Denílson Azevedo made a huge save. A collision led to Jurassic Monsters SA getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Vinícius Grandi hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Josué Penha made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Jurassic Monsters SA booed when Breguete FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duda Ceresso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Josué Penha struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Jefferson Souza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jurassic Monsters SA. Denílson Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Domingues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jefferson Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josué Penha in the 60th minute of play. Rodrigo Domingues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Denílson Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benjamim Rezende took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Denílson Azevedo. Denílson Azevedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Claudinei Mesquita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Breguete FC booed when Jurassic Monsters SA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aírton Bezerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Jurassic Monsters SA's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinei Mesquita came free, but Denílson Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th match minute, Breguete FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Godoi to maneuver through the defense. Jurassic Monsters SA's Josué Penha got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamim Rezende in the 90th minute of play forced Jurassic Monsters SA's goalkeeper Denílson Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Breguete FC's Angelo Gerber got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Remo Rodrigues during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
