A hard shot by Rubens Tasso from long distance, 4 minutes into the match, got Gino Hoffmann's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rubens Tasso got free with Gino Hoffmann in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriano Diaz in the 7th minute of play forced Figueira SC FSCMZ's goalkeeper Gino Hoffmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bater Cuca received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gino Hoffmann came out and tried to block the shot, but Bater Cuca slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 9th minute.
