Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Zemantauskas FC's Davi Mello started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Remo Varela had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hamílton Rezende. October 04's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Remo Varela was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 10th match minute, Zemantauskas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remo Varela to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Davi Mello managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zemantauskas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Davi Mello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hamílton Rezende breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Davi Mello kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 20th minute Alex Berger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamílton Rezende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wesley Teles in the 22nd minute of play forced Zemantauskas FC's goalkeeper Sílvio Penha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Davi Mello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Igor Britto charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Igor Britto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 29th minute, Igor Britto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the game, one of Zemantauskas FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Wilian Alcântara walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Sílvio Penha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilian Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute, Wilian Alcântara left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The October 04 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Hamílton Rezende was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Alex Berger capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alex Berger really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Ruy Lira's late challenge caught a Zemantauskas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ruy Lira helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th match minute, October 04 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruy Lira to maneuver through the defense. In the 48th minute, Remo Varela left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zemantauskas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Valdir Ortiz's late challenge caught a October 04's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valdir Ortiz helped the player get up and apologised. Valdir Ortiz hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. October 04's Hamílton Rezende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remo Varela in the 61st minute of play. Pedro Paulo Paes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Sílvio Penha made a huge save. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind October 04's goalkeeper Hamílton Rezende, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hamílton Rezende took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remo Varela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hamílton Rezende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdir Ortiz in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute Remo Varela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamílton Rezende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zemantauskas FC's Fabiano Trevisan quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ruy Lira, made in the 82nd minute of the game. Remo Varela kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Igor Britto kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Remo Varela hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Egídio Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hamílton Rezende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernani Sousa in the 98th minute of play. October 04's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
