In the 9th match minute, Inter de São Paulo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charles Santos to maneuver through the defense. Thomás Vides stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Celsinho Bittencourt's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Dudu Sanches fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Percival Tavares having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Charles Santos made a precise shot to the right of Thomás Vides. AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Celsinho Bittencourt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inter de São Paulo's supporters rose to their feet, but Celsinho Bittencourt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thomás Vides breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's Thomás Vides played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celsinho Bittencourt in the 35th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Charles Santos made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Celsinho Bittencourt kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Thomás Vides. That made the score 1-2 in the 54 minute of play. AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Charles Santos scored to the left of an out of position Thomás Vides, making the score, 1-3. When Frédson Marquez fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Inter de São Paulo's protests and gave Frédson Marquez a yellow card for diving instead. 68 minutes into the match, AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Charles Santos came free, but Thomás Vides reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the game, Frédson Marquez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Thomás Vides. Frédson Marquez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's Thomás Vides played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles Santos in the 72nd minute of play. 83 minutes into the game, Celsinho Bittencourt recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Thomás Vides. Celsinho Bittencourt showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. The supporters of Inter de São Paulo booed when AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sidney de Amorim didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 94 minutes, Douglas Neiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inter de São Paulo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Douglas Neiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Inter de São Paulo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
