The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dudu Sanches kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Ulisses Marquez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonardo Trancoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. When Hamílton Tepedino fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's protests and gave Hamílton Tepedino a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Red Dragon FC - DMZ booed when AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamílton Tepedino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thomás Vides was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and José Maria Teixeira capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. José Maria Teixeira really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 20 minutes into the game, Hugo Terra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Thomás Vides was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Leonardo Trancoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulisses Marquez in the 31st minute of play. Nando Abraão kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dudu Sanches in the 36th minute of play forced Red Dragon FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Leonardo Trancoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonardo Trancoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilvan de Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thomás Vides didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 40th minute, which inside left pole to 4-0. José Maria Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Thomás Vides showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Maria Teixeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Leonardo Trancoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ulisses Marquez in the 56th minute. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hugo Terra helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Terra in the 82nd minute of play forced AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's goalkeeper Thomás Vides to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonardo Trancoso was a little too slow when Dudu Sanches got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 4-3. Leonardo Trancoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulisses Marquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's Nando Abraão got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If José Maria Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
