Dalmo Esteves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Willian Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Tamboril's Rafa Bueno got a free kick in the 7th minute. A collision led to Tamboril getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Wilian Valle hit a great ball. Dalmo Esteves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Garcia in the 14th minute of play. Dalmo Esteves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute, Frederico Leme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tamboril's Dalmo Esteves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Garcia in the 21st minute of play. When Cléber Pinho fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tirense F.C.'s protests and gave Cléber Pinho a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Tamboril booed when Tirense F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cléber Pinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frederico Leme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Tirense F.C.'s Gilberto Garcia in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tamboril's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 37 minutes, Frederico Leme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tamboril's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frederico Leme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Tamboril's Frederico Leme sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enéas Arruda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 43rd play minute Frederico Leme came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Enéas Arruda. 1-0. Frederico Leme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frederico Leme in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enéas Arruda saved Tirense F.C. from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frederico Leme in the 54th minute of play forced Tirense F.C.'s goalkeeper Enéas Arruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wanderson Ceresso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Enéas Arruda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frederico Leme in the 58th minute of play forced Tirense F.C.'s goalkeeper Enéas Arruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute, Willian Cunha fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Willian Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Dalmo Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Dida Vidal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Enéas Arruda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frederico Leme in the 73rd minute of the match. Enéas Arruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wanderson Ceresso in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Gilberto Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tirense F.C.'s goalkeeper Enéas Arruda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Wanderson Ceresso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enéas Arruda was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Tirense F.C.'s Enéas Arruda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frederico Leme in the 86th minute of play. After 90 minutes, Gilberto Garcia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tirense F.C. and the Tamboril players grew even worse after the yellow card.
