Amauri Barbosa started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ's goal looked a bit too open when Charles Santos came free, but Cristiano Albuquerque reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 5th minute Charles Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Albuquerque saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celsinho Bittencourt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristiano Albuquerque didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Charles Santos went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Charles Santos scored 0-2 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristiano Albuquerque, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 18 played minutes Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ got a freekick which was hit by Amauri Barbosa. Celsinho Bittencourt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Albuquerque having to interfere. Cristiano Albuquerque took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celsinho Bittencourt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute, Celsinho Bittencourt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ's Cristiano Albuquerque played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frédson Marquez in the 33rd minute of play. In the 38th minute, Maurinho Porto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the match, Celsinho Bittencourt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristiano Albuquerque. Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Celsinho Bittencourt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Charles Santos to make the kick off. The supporters of Inter de São Paulo booed when Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amauri Barbosa didn't get a good kick on the ball.
