Roberto Siqueira charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roberto Siqueira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Aguinhas booed when Haridades F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Siqueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. 4 minutes into the game, Vitório Lago cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ronaldinho Pernambucano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 10th minute, Vitório Lago made a precise shot to the right of Ronaldinho Pernambucano. Haridades F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Guto Martins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moisés Dracena in the 13th minute of play. Guto Martins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moisés Dracena in the 15th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Nildo Donato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aguinhas's Nildo Donato got his second yellow card of the match in the 23rd minute. The referee ordered Nildo Donato off the ground. After 23 played minutes Aguinhas got a freekick which was hit by Nildo Donato. A collision led to Aguinhas getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Cléberson Leme hit a great ball. Luís Eduardo Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Guto Martins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guto Martins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moisés Dracena in the 29th minute of the match. Luís Eduardo Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guto Martins having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tiago Gabriel Arósio made a kick off. Moisés Dracena struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Guto Martins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Haridades F.C. After 64 played minutes, Aguinhas's Cléberson Leme shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ronaldinho Pernambucano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Aguinhas reached it. Roberto Siqueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Guto Martins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Eduardo Souza in the 68th minute of play forced Aguinhas's goalkeeper Guto Martins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Vitório Lago had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ronaldinho Pernambucano. Haridades F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vitório Lago was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. In the 73rd minute, Arlindo Ortiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Haridades F.C's Ronaldinho Pernambucano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Gabriel Arósio in the 75th minute of play. Moisés Dracenas short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Guto Martins to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 83rd minute, Vitório Lago ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ronaldinho Pernambucano was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Ronaldinho Pernambucano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiago Gabriel Arósio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Vitório Lago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Ernesto Coelho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Haridades F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernesto Coelho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guto Martins breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Haridades F.C's Ronaldinho Pernambucano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arlindo Ortiz in the 91st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Aguinhas's Luiz Gustavo Mota got a free kick in the 94th minute. Luís Eduardo Souza might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guto Martins. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luís Eduardo Souza ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Aguinhas had won after a very even match.
