When Nilton Alcântara fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paranhos Ariranha FC's protests and gave Nilton Alcântara a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th minute, Fausto Fernandez made a precise shot to the right of Dida Brasil. PREZULO FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 18 played minutes PREZULO FC got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Madureira. Paranhos Ariranha FC's Evaristo Moreira shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 19th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Dida Brasil but with some difficulty. Lúcio Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matheus de Souza in the 23rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Paranhos Ariranha FC's Carlos Alberto de Amaral got a free kick in the 25th minute. After a defensive mix-up in PREZULO FC's zone, Dé Prado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dida Brasil came out of the goal and Dé Prado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, PREZULO FC's Dida Brasil got control of the ball when Carlos Alberto de Amaral tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 31 played minutes Paranhos Ariranha FC got a freekick which was hit by Magno Jacinto. A collision led to PREZULO FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Matheus de Souza hit a great ball. In the 35th minute Carlos Alberto de Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dé Prado hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute Matheus de Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lúcio Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lúcio Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Válbson Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, PREZULO FC's Rodolfo Madureira got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute of the match Fausto Fernandez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dida Brasil showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Válbson Carvalho made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matheus de Souza got free with Lúcio Mota in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Wágner Carneiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. PREZULO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Wágner Carneiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lúcio Mota breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dida Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dé Prado in the 58th minute of play. In the 59th match minute, PREZULO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Chaves to maneuver through the defense. After 60 played minutes, Paranhos Ariranha FC's Fausto Fernandez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dida Brasil came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Paranhos Ariranha FC reached it. Dida Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlinhos Schmidt in the 67th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Fausto Fernandez got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dida Brasil quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. PREZULO FC's Dida Brasil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dé Prado in the 71st minute of play. In the 81st match minute, Paranhos Ariranha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magno Jacinto to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Paranhos Ariranha FC's goalkeeper Lúcio Mota, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Paranhos Ariranha FC's Nilton Alcântara got his second yellow card of the match in the 82nd minute. The referee ordered Nilton Alcântara off the ground. After a rather tough play, Paranhos Ariranha FC's Nilton Alcântara got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Carlinhos Schmidt hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match.
