The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hernani Branco during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Brasilino getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Hernani Branco hit a great ball. Pedrão Souto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elder Ramalho in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Breno Pinho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Humberto Xavier. Brasilino's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Breno Pinho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 20th minute Breno Pinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Xavier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Atlético de Crisal's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hílton da Silveira was slow to take the kick. During this time Brasilino's players had a chance to rest. In the 24th match minute, Brasilino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernani Branco to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute, Igor Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Atlético de Crisal's Adelino Miranda got a free kick in the 30th minute. The supporters of Brasilino booed when Atlético de Crisal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Breno Pinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Pedro Paulo Furlan made the kick off in the second half. Juninho Rosa hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Murilo Pena hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Atlético de Crisal had won after a very even match.
