Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomás Mazza kicked off to start the match. After 3 played minutes SE Palmeiras got a freekick which was hit by Didi Ramos. When João Ceresso came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Jardim América FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Ceresso couldn't finish the play. In the 6th minute Tomás Mazza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilson Dracena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SE Palmeiras's Nilson Dracena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Mazza in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute of the match, Enio Mangueira got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nilson Dracena was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. João Ceresso was slow to take the kick. During this time Jardim América FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Jardim América FC's corner João Ceresso fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nilson Dracena quite easily take care of the ball. Nilson Dracena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomás Mazza's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ian Cerezo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jardim América FC's Luan Ramos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save Jardim América FC from getting a goal against them. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
