Douglas de Amaral took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Evaristo Siqueira. Evaristo Siqueira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Evaristo Siqueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas de Amaral in the 8th minute of play. With a little luck, Floripa Lions FSCMZ's Evaristo Siqueira got control of the ball when Douglas de Amaral tried to sneak it across the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Sandrinho Cabral notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Floripa Lions FSCMZ's Evaristo Siqueira. Evaristo Siqueira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 24th match minute, Gurdurão was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Douglas de Amaral to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 25 minutes, Alfredão Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Floripa Lions FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredão Castro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Gurdurão's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredão Castro came free, but Wilson Vianna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pepe Giliamsen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Evaristo Siqueira made a huge save. Wilson Vianna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredão Castro in the 35th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the game, Douglas de Amaral recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Evaristo Siqueira. Douglas de Amaral showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dalmo Santos was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Floripa Lions FSCMZ's Hélder Prestes got a free kick in the 58th minute. Floripa Lions FSCMZ's Evaristo Siqueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalmo Santos in the 60th minute of play. Floripa Lions FSCMZ's Erik Schmidt suffered a sprained foot after 61 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sandrinho Cabral during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Evaristo Siqueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dalmo Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas de Amaral in the 71st minute of play forced Floripa Lions FSCMZ's goalkeeper Evaristo Siqueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Naldo Viana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Evaristo Siqueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Gurdurão's Naldo Viana got a free kick in the 75th minute. After 76 played minutes Floripa Lions FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Wiliam França. Evaristo Siqueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmo Santos in the 84th minute of play. When Hélder Prestes fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Floripa Lions FSCMZ's protests and gave Hélder Prestes a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Gurdurão booed when Floripa Lions FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hélder Prestes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evaristo Siqueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dalmo Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Douglas de Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Siqueira having to interfere. Pepe Giliamsen kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After 93 played minutes Gurdurão got a freekick which was hit by Matías Bezerra. João Vítor Dionísio charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Vítor Dionísio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Gurdurão getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. João Vítor Dionísio hit a great ball.
