Kléber Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th minute of the game Sylwester Soszka made a throw-in which Abelardo Neiva played forward. When Gerson Quadros came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the DJVAGALUMY FC. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerson Quadros couldn't finish the play. In the 16th match minute, LUIZ PANATO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sérgio de Queiroz to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the match, LUIZ PANATO's goal looked a bit too open when Paulinho Zanette came free, but Juninho Carneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulinho Zanette could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Juninho Carneiro made a huge save. Juninho Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrique Sergipano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Teodoro Berger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Juninho Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Neiva in the 57th minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, Lajos Murai was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LUIZ PANATO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DJVAGALUMY FC. the free kick. In the 62nd minute, Lajos Murai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the game, Henrique Sergipano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DJVAGALUMY FC.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LUIZ PANATO the free kick. In the 76th match minute, DJVAGALUMY FC. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulinho Zanette to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerson Quadros in the 82nd minute of play forced LUIZ PANATO's goalkeeper Juninho Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juninho Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulinho Zanette, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see DJVAGALUMY FC. lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
