When the match had been going on for 15 minutes, Motta Futebol Clube's Zeca Esteves got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Rubinho Abreu. Juninho Freire showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorival Fontes in the 18th minute of the match. In the 20th minute of the match, Patrick Costa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rubinho Abreu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Rubinho Abreu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 吕震强's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. The referee ignored ADM Taquaras's protests and gave Dorival Fontes a yellow card for diving instead. Dorival Fontes kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Elias Freire took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rubinho Abreu. Rubinho Abreu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 47th minute Dorival Fontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juninho Freire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Mac Oña hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Rubinho Abreu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guilherme Arana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 吕震强 in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rubinho Abreu saved ADM Taquaras from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Paulo Cruz during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 92nd minute Marcinho Paes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubinho Abreu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Marcinho Paes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rubinho Abreu was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. After having played for 95 minutes, Zeca de Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Motta Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zeca de Azevedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 95 minutes, Marcinho Paes made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. ADM Taquaras's Rubinho Abreu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. There was no doubt that Motta Futebol Clube were the better team. Motta Futebol Clube's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
