An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidney Favoretto in the 7th minute of play forced Canarinho Atordoado's goalkeeper Egídio Sampaio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Nas Horas Vagas F.C getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Reginaldo Fernandez hit a great ball. Gernando Paes acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 9th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Dênis Matos. Gernando Paes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fellipe Sampaio in the 10th minute. Egídio Sampaio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elder Moreno in the 15th minute of play. Percival dos Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Nas Horas Vagas F.C's Gernando Paes got control of the ball when Fellipe Sampaio tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 22 played minutes Canarinho Atordoado got a freekick which was hit by Otávio Pimenta. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidney Favoretto in the 23rd minute of play forced Canarinho Atordoado's goalkeeper Egídio Sampaio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Percival dos Santos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gernando Paes. That made the score 1-0 in the 25 minute of play. Elivélton Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Egídio Sampaio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Brasil in the 29th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Sidney Favoretto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nas Horas Vagas F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Sidney Favoretto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Egídio Sampaio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 35thth minute of the game Percival dos Santos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nas Horas Vagas F.C's Gernando Paes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Nas Horas Vagas F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Percival dos Santos came free, but Gernando Paes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fellipe Sampaio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Gernando Paes made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidney Favoretto in the 39th minute of play forced Canarinho Atordoado's goalkeeper Egídio Sampaio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th match minute, Nas Horas Vagas F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reginaldo Fernandez to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sidney Favoretto to make the kick off. Gernando Paes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fellipe Sampaio in the 54th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the game, Nas Horas Vagas F.C's Sidney Favoretto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Egídio Sampaio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 62 minutes into the match, Canarinho Atordoado's goal looked a bit too open when Elder Moreno came free, but Egídio Sampaio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Canarinho Atordoado's Egídio Sampaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidney Favoretto in the 64th minute of play. In the 77th minute of the match, Elder Moreno tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Egídio Sampaio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A well-hit corner resulted in Conrado Ceresso heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Egídio Sampaio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elder Moreno in the 83rd minute of play. After 83 played minutes Nas Horas Vagas F.C got a freekick which was hit by Sidney Favoretto. The supporters of Nas Horas Vagas F.C booed when Canarinho Atordoado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walmir Tróia didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 90 played minutes Canarinho Atordoado got a freekick which was hit by Walmir Tróia. Walmir Tróia kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Elder Moreno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Egídio Sampaio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nas Horas Vagas F.C succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Canarinho Atordoado had controlled the match.
