Carrossel Caipira's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave COURO COME FC the free kick. The supporters of Carrossel Caipira booed when COURO COME FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nildo Pereira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39thth minute of the game Wesley Mangueira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but COURO COME FC's José Maria Pontes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Álvaro Neiva fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored COURO COME FC's protests and gave Álvaro Neiva a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to COURO COME FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Álvaro Neiva hit a great ball. José Maria Pontes was a little too slow when Wesley Mangueira got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 2-1. Nando Ceresso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edinho da Rocha having to interfere.

The wind increased when Wesley Mangueira made the kick off in the second half. When Jairo Veiga fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Gerd Aschemann succeeded in the game's 88th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. 95 minutes into the match, Carrossel Caipira's goalkeeper Edinho da Rocha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Túlio Arantes. COURO COME FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Carrossel Caipira to leave the ground with a draw.
