The SRP-Laguna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Faustão Custódio should have stopped the shot. Adhemar de Alcântara took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Faustão Custódio. Faustão Custódio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adhemar de Alcântara in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Faustão Custódio saved SRP-Laguna from getting behind. 16 minutes into the match, José Carlos Linares notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of SRP-Laguna's Faustão Custódio. Faustão Custódio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Faustão Custódio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adhemar de Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the game, Romeu Martins was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SRP-Laguna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Landulfos FC the free kick. After 21 played minutes SRP-Laguna got a freekick which was hit by Romeu Martins. 23 minutes into the match, José Carlos Linares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Faustão Custódio. SRP-Laguna's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that José Carlos Linares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Leonel Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Marcelo Falcão had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Faustão Custódio. SRP-Laguna's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcelo Falcão was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. 31 minutes into the match, SRP-Laguna's goal looked a bit too open when Adhemar de Alcântara came free, but Faustão Custódio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute, José Carlos Linares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Faustão Custódio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wiliam de Souza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Raúl Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustão Custódio having to interfere. SRP-Laguna's Faustão Custódio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save SRP-Laguna from getting a goal against them. Walmyr Cavalcante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute, Landulfos FC's Adhemar de Alcântara dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-12. Landulfos FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
