In the 5th minute, Adhemar de Alcântara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivo Amaral was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 8 minutes into the match, Luiz Leme dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ivo Amaral, 2-0. 15 minutes into the game, Adhemar de Alcântara recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ivo Amaral. Adhemar de Alcântara showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Adhemar de Alcântara's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Ivo Amaral skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ivo Amaral was a little too slow when José Carlos Linares got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 5-0. The supporters of Real Cruzeiro FC booed when Landulfos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Falcão didn't get a good kick on the ball. With 22 minutes on the clock, Wanderson Recife commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Júnior Salles placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Luiz Leme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Ivo Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, José Carlos Linares took a quick shot and it went in 6-0 without a chance for Ivo Amaral to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Landulfos FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Luiz Leme hit a great ball. Ivo Amaral stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raúl Garcia's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Ivo Amaral didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luiz Leme went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Ivo Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Róbson Negri in the 41st minute of the match. Luiz Leme scored 9-0 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivo Amaral, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Real Cruzeiro FC's Ivo Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Leme in the 56th minute of play. Raúl Garcia struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Ivo Amaral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Landulfos FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Carlos Linares in the 59th minute of play forced Real Cruzeiro FC's goalkeeper Ivo Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Landulfos FC fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when Landulfos FC's Luiz Leme looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 10-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Luís Guilherme Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Real Cruzeiro FC's zone, Marcelo Falcão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivo Amaral came out of the goal and Marcelo Falcão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 68th minute, José Carlos Linares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Landulfos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-0. After 75 minutes of play, Landulfos FC's Luiz Leme made it 13-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivo Amaral was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Real Cruzeiro FC's zone, Róbson Negri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivo Amaral came out of the goal and Róbson Negri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luiz Leme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 80 minutes, Raúl Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Landulfos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raúl Garcia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Landulfos FC's Raúl Garcia got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ivo Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Leme in the 85th minute of the match. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ivo Amaral showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. José Carlos Linares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Landulfos FC fully deserved thier win.
