After 6 minutes of play, Landulfos FC's José Carlos Linares made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Michel Viana was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Adhemar de Alcântara in the 15th minute of play forced Donzela de Ferro FBPA's goalkeeper Michel Viana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michel Viana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adhemar de Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 20th play minutes Luiz Leme shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Michel Viana and just under the crossbar into goal. Rui Veloso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Michel Viana made a huge save. In the 24th minute Adhemar de Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michel Viana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Landulfos FC booed when Donzela de Ferro FBPA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luizinho Custódio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th match minute, Donzela de Ferro FBPA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Motta to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Landulfos FC's José Carlos Linares slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Michel Viana. That made the score 3-0 after 29 minutes of play. Matheus Cardoso kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Adhemar de Alcântara took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Michel Viana. Donzela de Ferro FBPA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Luiz Leme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47thth minute of the game Adhemar de Alcântara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Donzela de Ferro FBPA's Michel Viana was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adhemar de Alcântara stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Donzela de Ferro FBPA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado de Alcântara to maneuver through the defense. The Donzela de Ferro FBPA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Michel Viana should have stopped the shot. Michel Viana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Leme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Landulfos FC's Adhemar de Alcântara in 66 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Michel Viana guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Róbson Negri took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Michel Viana. Michel Viana dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. After 71 played minutes Landulfos FC got a freekick which was hit by Raúl Garcia. Rui Veloso took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Michel Viana. Michel Viana dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Michel Viana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rui Veloso went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Donzela de Ferro FBPA made a substitution. Oscar Berger replaced Frank Marquez. 84 minutes into the match, José Carlos Linares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Michel Viana. Donzela de Ferro FBPA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that José Carlos Linares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. In the 88th minute of the match Wanderson Recife shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Michel Viana showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Michel Viana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adhemar de Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luiz Leme's late challenge caught a Donzela de Ferro FBPA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luiz Leme helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Landulfos FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Luiz Leme hit a great ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Landulfos FC had played much better football throughout.
