Ivo Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beto Aparecido in the 16th minute of play. José Augusto Novaes kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in ITAFUT 4EVER's zone, Luís Guilherme Cabral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernesto Varela came out of the goal and Luís Guilherme Cabral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luís Guilherme Cabral who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Ernesto Varela when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ernesto Varela made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Guilherme Cabral in the 21st minute. Beto Aparecido scored 0-2 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivo Amaral, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ivo Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beto Aparecido in the 32nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luís Guilherme Cabral got free with Ernesto Varela in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Beto Aparecido fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ITAFUT 4EVER's protests and gave Beto Aparecido a yellow card for diving instead. After the first half ITAFUT 4EVER were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Orlando Mineiro was the one to do the kick off. Real Cruzeiro FC's Ivo Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beto Aparecido in the 54th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Luiz Perez during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Falcão Mendes kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. ITAFUT 4EVER's Orlando Mineiro got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Luís Guilherme Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ernesto Varela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Guilherme Cabral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute, Pedro Paulo Munhoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute Gonçalo Sarmento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luís Guilherme Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. José Augusto Novaes charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed José Augusto Novaes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, ITAFUT 4EVER's José Augusto Novaes got a free kick in the 70th minute. After 71 played minutes ITAFUT 4EVER got a freekick which was hit by Renatinho Urbano. Ernesto Varela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natã Madureira, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After some careless play in the Real Cruzeiro FC defense, Beto Aparecido kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ivo Amaral. The Real Cruzeiro FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ivo Amaral should have stopped the shot. In the 83rd minute, Renatinho Urbano fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ivo Amaral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Beto Aparecido in the 84th minute. The Real Cruzeiro FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching ITAFUT 4EVER's performance. The match ended with a win for ITAFUT 4EVER.
