The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frédson Rosa in the 15th minute of play forced Reko-Recko 03™'s goalkeeper Carlos Eduardo Donatello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Federico Valverde made a precise shot to the right of Lauro Secco. Papunhas EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maurinho Prestes made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Robinho Falcão made a precise shot to the right of Lauro Secco. Papunhas EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 56th minute, Selman Ruzi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lauro Secco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. In the 87th minute, Federico Valverde left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Reko-Recko 03™ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. João Paulo Ribeiro's late challenge caught a Reko-Recko 03™'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Paulo Ribeiro helped the player get up and apologised. João Paulo Ribeiro hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Papunhas EC's Lauro Secco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Selman Ruzi in the 95th minute of play. Reko-Recko 03™'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
