A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 44 played minutes SE Tijolo 6 Furos got a freekick which was hit by Maurilio Moura. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dieguinho Leal in the 47th minute of play forced Zebus FC's goalkeeper Aloísio Pirani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dieguinho Leal to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Dieguinho Leal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aloísio Pirani was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. SE Tijolo 6 Furos's Elivélton Moura pulled a muscle in his back after 75 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Zebus FC's Flávio Dante got his second yellow card of the match in the 75th minute. The referee ordered Flávio Dante off the ground. 78 minutes into the game, SE Tijolo 6 Furos's Luís Eduardo dos Santos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aloísio Pirani made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Zebus FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
