The crowd rose to their feet as Brasiliense FC's Kılıç Kerim slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aloísio Pirani. That made the score 0-4 after 57 minutes of play. Cris Bala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dida Coelho in the 61st minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Zebus FC's goalkeeper Aloísio Pirani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juninho de Azevedo. Aloísio Pirani yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. In the 86th minute Flávio Dante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cris Bala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Flávio Dante during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Flávio Dante hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Augusto Chaves got free with Aloísio Pirani in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Zebus FC defense, Deng Zhen Fan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aloísio Pirani. The Zebus FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aloísio Pirani should have stopped the shot. Brasiliense FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
