Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Hugo Santana took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Jacuitiba - FSCMZ booed when Capibaribe Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseu de Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mastur Bandov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raimundo Camargo's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. After 12 played minutes Jacuitiba - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Chi-Chi Kent. In the 14th minute Hugo Santana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Nogueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mastur Bandov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raimundo Camargo in the 17th minute. Capibaribe Stars were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fabinho Vasconcelos took the corner. Capibaribe Stars's Fabinho Vasconcelos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mastur Bandov in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Marcos Nogueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chi-Chi Kent, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chi-Chi Kent's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcos Nogueira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Capibaribe Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Chi-Chi Kent came free, but Marcos Nogueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andréas Asplund in the 35th minute of play forced Capibaribe Stars's goalkeeper Marcos Nogueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Capibaribe Stars defense, Chi-Chi Kent kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Nogueira. The Capibaribe Stars fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Nogueira should have stopped the shot. Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's Mastur Bandov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Camargo in the 44th minute of play. Armando Botelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Mastur Bandov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Jacuitiba - FSCMZ were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raimundo Camargo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Chi-Chi Kent managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chi-Chi Kent was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mastur Bandov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Camargo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andréas Asplund's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marcos Nogueira firmly grabbed it by the left post. Marcos Nogueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chi-Chi Kent, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Capibaribe Stars's goalkeeper Marcos Nogueira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chi-Chi Kent. Marcos Nogueira came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's Chi-Chi Kent. But to his dismay, Chi-Chi Kent quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 91 minutes into the match, Armando Botelho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mastur Bandov. Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Armando Botelho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5.
