The supporters of Mundial EC booed when PIRATAS TFP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre da Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Luís Lima in the 9th minute of play forced PIRATAS TFP's goalkeeper Elano Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Will de Backer ran over to the corner to take the kick. Mundial EC's Will de Backer was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Elano Toledo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. PIRATAS TFP's Elano Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Li Li in the 23rd minute of play. Elano Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Luís Lima in the 27th minute of play. Cafu Silveira might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Germano Moraes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cafu Silveira ran back to his position shaking his head. Germano Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cafu Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to PIRATAS TFP getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Didi Salgado hit a great ball. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mundial EC's goalkeeper Germano Moraes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 35th minute PIRATAS TFP were awarded a corner. Régis Urbano went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on PIRATAS TFP's corner Régis Urbano fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Germano Moraes quite easily take care of the ball. Cafu Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Germano Moraes came out of the goal and Cafu Silveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 55 minutes into the match, PIRATAS TFP's goal looked a bit too open when Arí Travassos came free, but Elano Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mundial EC's Arí Travassos was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 59th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Cafu Silveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Germano Moraes having to interfere. Elano Toledo had great luck who in the 72ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Arí Travassos from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. The audience was convinced that Cafu Silveira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Germano Moraes was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. João Vítor de Medeiros charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Elano Toledo was a little too slow when Arí Travassos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 0-4.
