The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Carlos Alberto de Sousa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 3rdth minute, Germano Moraes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 潘桑昆's late challenge caught a Futbol Club RRFV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 潘桑昆 helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Mundial EC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. 潘桑昆 hit a great ball. Noel Pombal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Germano Moraes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Diamantino Senna stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Luís Lima's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Futbol Club RRFV's goal looked a bit too open when Li Li came free, but Diamantino Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Mundial EC booed when Futbol Club RRFV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dedê Freire didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diamantino Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arí Travassos, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Futbol Club RRFV's zone, Reinaldo de Alcântara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diamantino Senna came out of the goal and Reinaldo de Alcântara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Germano Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Rocha in the 23rd minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Carlos Alberto de Sousa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Germano Moraes. Mundial EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Alberto de Sousa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 29th minute Arí Travassos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diamantino Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diamantino Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arí Travassos in the 32nd minute of play. Diamantino Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Li Li in the 33rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Carlos Alberto de Sousa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Germano Moraes was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. In the 43rd minute Li Li shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diamantino Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonel Sanches in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Germano Moraes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. André Luís Martins hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Pedro Luís Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute, Egídio França hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Futbol Club RRFV getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Zé Rocha hit a great ball. Mundial EC's Will de Backer shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 66th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Diamantino Senna but with some difficulty. In the 66th minute, Li Li hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diamantino Senna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arí Travassos in the 72nd minute. In the 74th minute of the match, Reinaldo de Alcântara got a very nice opportunity to score, but Diamantino Senna was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 79th match minute, Mundial EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 潘桑昆 to maneuver through the defense. 潘桑昆 hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. 97 minutes into the match, Futbol Club RRFV's goal looked a bit too open when Li Li came free, but Diamantino Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Mundial EC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Futbol Club RRFV.
