FPRMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamílton Valle to maneuver through the defense. Fernando Fontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabrizio Grandis in the 40th minute of the match. 45 minutes into the game, Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's Patrick Cerezo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. José Carlos Mendonça made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabrizio Grandis to make the kick off.
