Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Agostinho Almeida took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 11th minute Victor de Sena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wágner Seco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Victor de Sena came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Clube do Remo MZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor de Sena couldn't finish the play. 25 minutes into the match, Juventudes Libertárias's goal looked a bit too open when Doriva Pinho came free, but Wágner Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Clube do Remo MZ's Tiaguinho Netto got control of the ball when Agostinho Almeida tried to sneak it across the goal line. Juventudes Libertárias's Wágner Seco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doriva Pinho in the 43rd minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Victor de Sena made the kick off in the second half. The tension between the Clube do Remo MZ and the Juventudes Libertárias players grew even worse after the yellow card. Doriva Pinhos short, quick shot in the 96thth minute got Wágner Seco to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Clube do Remo MZ eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
