After 4 played minutes Pereiras FC got a freekick which was hit by Enio Palmeira. In the 6th match minute, Club Sacode Football CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremias Lima to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the match, Club Sacode Football CIMZ's goalkeeper Vito Cardozo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enio Palmeira. Vânderson Botelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aldair Code in the 22nd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the game, Jorge Moreira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Sacode Football CIMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pereiras FC the free kick. Vânderson Botelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aldair Code, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Guilherme Trancoso in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vito Cardozo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 31st minute, Pereiras FC's Luís Guilherme Trancoso dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 37th minute Décio Sarmento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vânderson Botelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aldair Code to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enio Palmeira in the 52nd minute of play forced Club Sacode Football CIMZ's goalkeeper Vito Cardozo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jeremias Lima fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Sacode Football CIMZ's protests and gave Jeremias Lima a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Club Sacode Football CIMZ getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Jeremias Lima hit a great ball. After 53 played minutes, Pereiras FC's Valdemar Bueno shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vito Cardozo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pereiras FC reached it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aldair Code got free with Vânderson Botelho in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zhuo Cheng Xiang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Vito Cardozo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Zhuo Cheng Xiang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club Sacode Football CIMZ made a substitution. Moisés Cunha replaced Jorge Moreira. Club Sacode Football CIMZ's Diogo Alcântara was substituted for Jeremias Lima. 63 minutes into the match, Pereiras FC's goalkeeper Vânderson Botelho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aldair Code. After 65 minutes Pereiras FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marcelo Montenegro who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Marcelo Montenegro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pereiras FC's Vânderson Botelho did a great save. Vânderson Botelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Berger in the 66th minute of the match. A collision led to Pereiras FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Fabrício Rocha hit a great ball. Club Sacode Football CIMZ's Vito Cardozo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhuo Cheng Xiang in the 70th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aldair Code got free with Vânderson Botelho in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 73rd minute, Luís Guilherme Trancoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luís Guilherme Trancoso's late challenge caught a Club Sacode Football CIMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luís Guilherme Trancoso helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Club Sacode Football CIMZ booed when Pereiras FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Guilherme Trancoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vânderson Botelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Berger in the 77th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Club Sacode Football CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Zhuo Cheng Xiang came free, but Vito Cardozo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zhuo Cheng Xiang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pereiras FC's Artur Duarte was substituted for José Carlos Bezerra. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aldair Code got free with Vânderson Botelho in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. For all the effort they put into the match, the Club Sacode Football CIMZ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pereiras FC.
