Richard Fontes came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by FÊNIX F.C.'s Mauro Luz. But to his dismay, Mauro Luz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeng Chang in the 8th minute of play forced FÊNIX F.C.'s goalkeeper Alfredo Paraibano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredo Paraibano made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Zeng Chang sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zeng Chang in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfredo Paraibano saved FÊNIX F.C. from getting behind. 19 minutes into the match, FÊNIX F.C.'s goalkeeper Alfredo Paraibano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zeng Chang. Alfredo Paraibano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeng Chang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by FÊNIX F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Guto Campidelis was slow to take the kick. During this time Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's players had a chance to rest. Dennys Gøl was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Taquaritinga's corner Guto Campidelis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alfredo Paraibano quite easily take care of the ball. Alfredo Paraibano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennys Gøl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th match minute, Clube Atl. Taquaritinga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guto Campidelis to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Mauro Luz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Richard Fontes was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. The Clube Atl. Taquaritinga players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FÊNIX F.C. were winning 0-1.

Taquaritinga's goalkeeper Richard Fontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Richard Fontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Luz in the 60th minute of play. In the 64th minute, Iuri Siqueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FÊNIX F.C.'s Júlio Antunes was substituted for Rômulo Sampaio. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Bengt Bouchard took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Richard Fontes to make any attempt to save it. Gilberto Leite kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Tanush Çarçani had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfredo Paraibano. FÊNIX F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tanush Çarçani was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 93rd minute of the game. One of FÊNIX F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Clube Atl. Taquaritinga:s goal. Alfredo Paraibano had in the 96thth minute some difficulties stopping Guto Campidelis's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The audience was convinced that Tanush Çarçani's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfredo Paraibano was relentless in the 98th minute of the game. Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
