In the 4th minute Leandro Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan da Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Red John S.K booed when CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Mineiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leandro Soares took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan da Fonseca. Jonathan da Fonseca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inácio de Lima in the 12th minute of play forced CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's goalkeeper Jonathan da Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12thth minute of the game Inácio de Lima who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Jonathan da Fonseca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE defense, Fred Meirelles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan da Fonseca. The CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan da Fonseca should have stopped the shot. In the 23rd minute Inácio de Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan da Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan Velloso during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 27th minute, Juan Velloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 32 minutes of play, Red John S.K's Juan Velloso made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan da Fonseca was left in no man's land by his defense there! Red John S.K's Jean Donato proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Red John S.K from getting a goal against them. In the 38th minute Inácio de Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan da Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Júlio Brasil to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Clemente Prestes hit a great ball. Leandro Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan da Fonseca having to interfere. After a rather tough play, CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Marcelinho Ramalho got a free kick in the 69th minute. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Inácio de Lima took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Jonathan da Fonseca to make any attempt to save it. Jean Donato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simamane LuaLua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Inácio de Lima could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Jonathan da Fonseca made a huge save. In the 76th match minute, CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustão Alagoano to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan da Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Meirelles in the 77th minute of the match. Leandro Soares kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After 84 played minutes CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE got a freekick which was hit by Júlio Brasil. In the 85th minute of the game Décio Vides made a throw-in which Frederico Mattos played forward. Jean Donato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júlio Brasil, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. The CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Red John S.K's performance. The match ended with a win for Red John S.K.
