An unexpectedly hard shot by Adhemar Gaúcho in the 4th minute of play forced S.E.R Corujão's goalkeeper Claudinho Pena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guarani Futebol Clube's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Túlio Ceresso in the 5th minute. The supporters of S.E.R Corujão booed when Guarani Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gernando Severo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 10 minutes into the game, Guarani Futebol Clube's Gernando Severo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claudinho Pena made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 13th minute Reginaldo Vidal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Augusto Mineiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 15 minutes, Adhemar Gaúcho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guarani Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adhemar Gaúcho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the S.E.R Corujão defense, Adhemar Gaúcho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claudinho Pena. The S.E.R Corujão fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claudinho Pena should have stopped the shot. Claudinho Pena came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Guarani Futebol Clube's Adhemar Gaúcho. But to his dismay, Adhemar Gaúcho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 32nd match minute, S.E.R Corujão was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marquinhos Sena to maneuver through the defense. Claudinho Pena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adhemar Gaúcho in the 35th minute of the match. Claudinho Pena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gernando Severo in the 36th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Adhemar Gaúcho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The S.E.R Corujão players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Guarani Futebol Clube were winning 0-5.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adhemar Gaúcho made a kick off. Adhemar Gaúchos short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Claudinho Pena to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A hard shot 58 in the game by Adhemar Gaúcho from a close distance when the talented Claudinho Pena managed to make a qualified save. S.E.R Corujão's players were relieved. Claudinho Pena came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Guarani Futebol Clube's Adhemar Gaúcho. But to his dismay, Adhemar Gaúcho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Guarani Futebol Clube's Adhemar Gaúcho was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 65th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Adhemar Gaúcho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guarani Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Adhemar Gaúcho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudinho Pena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of S.E.R Corujão booed when Guarani Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gernando Severo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gernando Severo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Claudinho Pena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adhemar Gaúcho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinho Pena having to interfere. After having played for 75 minutes, Gernando Severo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guarani Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gernando Severo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adhemar Gaúcho succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-8 in the 77th playminute. Claudinho Pena came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Guarani Futebol Clube's Adhemar Gaúcho. But to his dismay, Adhemar Gaúcho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. When Guarani Futebol Clube's Adhemar Gaúcho in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye S.E.R Corujão's goalie prevented a goal. 87 minutes into the game, Conrado Coutinho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. S.E.R Corujão's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guarani Futebol Clube the free kick. When Adhemar Gaúcho came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Guarani Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adhemar Gaúcho couldn't finish the play. After 95 minutes, Marquinhos Sena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S.E.R Corujão and the Guarani Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. Guarani Futebol Clube's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
