INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA's Alisson Goycochea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Ďumbier in the 36th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 43rd minute by Lucas Head Son got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With a little luck, Grêmio RK75's Javiero Milei got control of the ball when Lucas Head Son tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fred Valencia to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fred Valencia in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Javiero Milei saved Grêmio RK75 from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Orlando Loyola during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Grêmio RK75's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA the free kick. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
