Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Gustavo Gol started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Edvin van der Saar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Ibar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8th minute of the match Tribos got a corner. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pedrinho Figueiredo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Tribos's Kaan Kayaer was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Arthur Bufi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 15th minute, Kaan Kayaer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edvin van der Saar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 余永川, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristiano Faria got free with Arthur Bufi in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tribos's Edvin van der Saar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Ibar in the 23rd minute of play. After 26 minutes of play, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's 余永川 made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edvin van der Saar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arthur Bufi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Gol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arthur Bufi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustavo Gol's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Tribos's attentive Cristiano Faria managed to snatch the ball when Douglas Botelho made a throw-in in the 38th minute of the game. When Cristiano Faria came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Tribos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristiano Faria couldn't finish the play. After the first half Cruzeiro Esporte Clube were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gwidon Cwojdak made a kick off. Arthur Bufi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Faria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edvin van der Saar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 余永川 in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th match minute, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Douglas Botelho to maneuver through the defense. Tribos's Adélio Pinhal quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Douglas Botelho, made in the 64th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's zone, Gustavo Gol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arthur Bufi came out of the goal and Gustavo Gol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Olavo Quadros was substituted for Douglas Botelho. 71 minutes into the match, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Gol came free, but Arthur Bufi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tribos's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when 余永川 scored to the left of an out of position Edvin van der Saar, making the score, 0-2. 余永川 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Olavo Quadros got a free kick in the 77th minute. Arthur Bufi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Gol in the 81st minute of play. Arthur Bufi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustavo Gol went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Arthur Bufi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Faria, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Gwidon Cwojdak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Gwidon Cwojdak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edvin van der Saar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 92 minutes into the match, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Gol came free, but Arthur Bufi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 94 played minutes Tribos got a freekick which was hit by Christopher Sjögren. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
