In the 7th match minute, Sport Club Mavericks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luizão Lima to maneuver through the defense. After 9 played minutes CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ got a freekick which was hit by Dan Petrescu. In the 13th minute Luizão Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emerson Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emerson Leão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luizão Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Osvaldo Shantala's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Telmo de Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. In the 28th minute Osvaldo Shantala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Telmo de Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sport Club Mavericks's Luís Gustavo Coelho got a free kick in the 28th minute. Thiago Tinoco kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 30th minute of the match Zé Paulo Brasil sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Telmo de Amorim skillfully saved the ball. Teofil Zjawin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Telmo de Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The throw-in from Cléber Paes in the 34th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Sport Club Mavericks's Ong Mathews. CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s Emerson Leão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ from getting a goal against them. Telmo de Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elder Pena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 36 minutes of play, CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s Elder Pena made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Telmo de Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! Elder Pena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Telmo de Amorim having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luizão Lima was the one to do the kick off.
