Gwidon Cwojdak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Jacinto de Azevedo made a huge save. Arthur Bufi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldão Mazza in the 10th minute of play. The supporters of Cruzeiro Esporte Clube booed when Milanis E.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hélder Britto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Hélder Lara tried to score from far away in the 13th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Jacinto de Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gwidon Cwojdak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 余永川 in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacinto de Azevedo saved Milanis E.C. from getting behind. After 22 minutes of play, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Gwidon Cwojdak made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
