José Vítor Aparecido might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zé Carlos da Cunha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. José Vítor Aparecido ran back to his position shaking his head. Zé Carlos da Cunha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emilio Lain went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell José Vítor Aparecido to make the kick off. Milanis E.C.'s Zé Carlos da Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Vítor Aparecido in the 51st minute of play. The audience was convinced that José Vítor Aparecido's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zé Carlos da Cunha was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Zé Carlos da Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Lain, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Milanis E.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emilio Lain was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. Zé Carlos da Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Vítor Aparecido in the 70th minute of the match. Vivaldo Garcia tried in the 71st minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Zé Carlos da Cunha a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 0-9. In the 74th minute, José Vítor Aparecido ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zé Carlos da Cunha was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-10. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Emilio Lain took a quick shot and it went in 0-11 without a chance for Zé Carlos da Cunha to make any attempt to save it. Zé Carlos da Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Lain in the 81st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Milanis E.C.'s Vivaldo Garcia got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Hélio Vaz had several of the Milanis E.C.'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 85 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-12 score and a disappointed Zé Carlos da Cunha as he didn't even see the shot coming. 88 minutes into the game, Hélio Vaz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-13. Zé Carlos da Cunha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Milanis E.C.'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Emilio Lain 91 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-14. Zé Carlos da Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélio Vaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 96th minute, Hélio Vaz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Braga Junior FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Milanis E.C..
