Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) After 4 played minutes, Se7e's Cui Fei Jing shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marcos Catarinense came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Se7e reached it. If João Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lino Andrade got free with Marcos Catarinense in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Se7e's Arlindo Loureiro got a free kick in the 13th minute. Augusto Penha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felippe Machado having to interfere. A collision led to AVAÍ F.C. getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Penha couldn't finish the play. Mateus Alves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Felippe Machado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Magalhães who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 48thth minute tested the skills of Marcos Catarinense when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Marcos Catarinense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guri Maroto in the 54th minute of the match. AVAÍ F.C.'s Marcos Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guri Maroto in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Andrade in the 66th minute of play forced AVAÍ F.C.'s goalkeeper Marcos Catarinense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felippe Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Mota in the 67th minute of the match. In the 68th minute, AVAÍ F.C.'s Jonathan Mota ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Felippe Machado. Felippe Machado yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. In the 71st minute Mateus Alves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felippe Machado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felippe Machado came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by AVAÍ F.C.'s Gabriel Poveda. But to his dismay, Gabriel Poveda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Se7e's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Jonathan Mota 76 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. Felippe Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateus Alves in the 82nd minute of the match. Fernandinho Bezerra's late challenge caught a AVAÍ F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernandinho Bezerra helped the player get up and apologised. In the 86th match minute, Se7e was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernandinho Bezerra to maneuver through the defense. Felippe Machado made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Jonathan Mota sent off a good shot on target. In the 92nd minute Lino Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Catarinense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The AVAÍ F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing AVAÍ F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
