Nelsinho Catarinense ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led AVAÍ F.C.'s Nelsinho Catarinense to fire away a dangerous shot which Vítor Saraiva despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 10 minutes into the game, Acácio Ortiz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcos Catarinense. Acácio Ortiz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Acácio Ortiz took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Catarinense. Marcos Catarinense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 18th minute Mateus Alves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor Saraiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When AVAÍ F.C.'s André Luiz Pinheiro in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Imbituba - FSCMZ's goalie prevented a goal. 26 minutes into the match, AVAÍ F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Lúcio Proença came free, but Marcos Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Imbituba - FSCMZ's zone, Augusto Penha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vítor Saraiva came out of the goal and Augusto Penha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vítor Saraiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateus Alves in the 38th minute of the match. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Imbituba - FSCMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nelsinho Catarinense was slow to take the kick. During this time AVAÍ F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner led AVAÍ F.C.'s Nelsinho Catarinense to fire away a dangerous shot which Vítor Saraiva despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Marcos Catarinense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Acácio Ortiz in the 57th minute of the match. Nelsinho Catarinense hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After having played for 66 minutes, Jonathan Mota managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AVAÍ F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Mota was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. AVAÍ F.C.'s Leopoldo Toscano was substituted for Fernandão Arce. Mateus Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. AVAÍ F.C.'s Marcos Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Acácio Ortiz in the 75th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, AVAÍ F.C.'s Mateus Alves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vítor Saraiva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Imbituba - FSCMZ's Franklin Tavares got a free kick in the 78th minute. Vítor Saraiva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabriel Poveda in the 79th minute.
