Spectators: 206 (Terracing: 155, Seating: 47, VIP seats: 4) Walmir Pontes made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 5th minute, Walmir Pontes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Franz Dubosq made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Guerreiro in the 11th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacinto Quirino in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franz Dubosq prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of C.A Gryffindor booed when Merusca F&P - CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walmir Pontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Franz Dubosq proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Merusca F&P - CIMZ from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Walmir Pontes in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chicão de Azevedo saved C.A Gryffindor from getting behind. After 24 minutes of play, C.A Gryffindor's Jacinto Quirino made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Franz Dubosq was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jacinto Quirino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Franz Dubosq read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Chicão de Azevedo came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Walmir Pontes. But to his dismay, Walmir Pontes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in C.A Gryffindor's zone, Walmir Pontes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chicão de Azevedo came out of the goal and Walmir Pontes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 45 minutes into the game, C.A Gryffindor's Jacinto Quirino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Franz Dubosq made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 48th minute José Guerreiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franz Dubosq saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when José Guerreiro made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Merusca F&P - CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walmir Pontes to maneuver through the defense. Walmir Pontes scored 2-2 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Chicão de Azevedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dmitry Ilyushin in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chicão de Azevedo saved C.A Gryffindor from getting behind. Franz Dubosq showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Quirino, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. C.A Gryffindor made a substitution. Paredes Pedrera replaced Marquinhos Filho. A collision led to Merusca F&P - CIMZ getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Gilberto Massa hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Merusca F&P - CIMZ defense, Guilherme Mazer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Franz Dubosq. The Merusca F&P - CIMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Franz Dubosq should have stopped the shot. C.A Gryffindor's Chicão de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dmitry Ilyushin in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th minute Dmitry Ilyushin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chicão de Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 92 minutes of play, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Dmitry Ilyushin made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chicão de Azevedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dmitry Ilyushin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Chicão de Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dmitry Ilyushin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nikos Prattis's late challenge caught a Merusca F&P - CIMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nikos Prattis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th minute, Nikos Prattis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
