The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 minutes Academia Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Artemio Cidro who took care of the corner kick. Domínguez AFC's Artemio Cidro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Saturnino Txartiko in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Mateo Rosario could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Saturnino Txartiko made a huge save. Leonel Eutropio kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Teofilo Dolcet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Saturnino Txartiko made a huge save. Academia Club's Saturnino Txartiko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Hermon in the 13th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Mateo Rosario had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Saturnino Txartiko. Academia Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mateo Rosario was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Humberto Hermon in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saturnino Txartiko saved Academia Club from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Intxixu in the 21st minute of play forced Academia Club's goalkeeper Saturnino Txartiko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Domínguez AFC's Camal Räfiyev, in the 24th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Domínguez AFC. Saturnino Txartiko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Camal Räfiyev in the 29th minute. In the 32nd minute, Humberto Hermon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Domínguez AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 36 minutes into the match, Academia Club's goalkeeper Saturnino Txartiko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mateo Rosario. Saturnino Txartiko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Hermon in the 42nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Hermon in the 48th minute of play forced Academia Club's goalkeeper Saturnino Txartiko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Humberto Hermon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Norberto Victoro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Academia Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Domínguez AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Academia Club's Norberto Victoro got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Saturnino Txartiko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camal Räfiyev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Domínguez AFC's Bartolo Karlo was substituted for Teofilo Dolcet. Domínguez AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Artemio Cidro in the 69th minute. A nice corner shot did that Artemio Cidro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Saturnino Txartiko quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Saturnino Txartiko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Hermon in the 73rd minute of play. The supporters of Domínguez AFC booed when Academia Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bonifacio Mark didn't get a good kick on the ball. Domínguez AFC made a substitution. Segundo Lalla replaced Kiur Erik. After 76 played minutes Academia Club got a freekick which was hit by Bonifacio Mark. Artemio Cidro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79th minute Fidel Gaitano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saturnino Txartiko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonel Eutropio hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Academia Club's Saturnino Txartiko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Hermon in the 83rd minute of play. When Domínguez AFC's Mateo Rosario in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Academia Club's goalie prevented a goal. After 87 minutes Academia Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Artemio Cidro who took care of the corner kick. In the 88th minute, Artemio Cidro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Saturnino Txartiko was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Fidel Gaitano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Saturnino Txartiko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mateo Rosario went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Domínguez AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
