Firmat Foot Ball Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rocky Balboa Team the free kick. After a rather tough play, Firmat Foot Ball Club's Leonides Gartxot got a free kick in the 24th minute. Rosendo Luar took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Constantino Teyo. Rocky Balboa Team's Constantino Teyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rosendo Luar in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Pascual Nofre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 38 minutes Rocky Balboa Team's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rosendo Luar who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzalo Calcini in the 43rd minute of play forced Rocky Balboa Team's goalkeeper Constantino Teyo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cosme Berenguer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Victor Porfirio made a huge save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gonzalo Calcini to strike the kick off in the second half. Eleuterio Ondino hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albano Acevedo got free with Constantino Teyo in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Constantino Teyo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Hanni in the 78th minute of the match. Constantino Teyo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rosendo Luar in the 86th minute. Victor Porfirio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosme Berenguer, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute.
